I haven’t had much time to spend on the blog this week, as I was trying to work out the kinks in the schedule. Of course, we all know how well the best-laid plans work out. Thrown in to the mix of my super-busy work week, I had to deal with an entire wasted day, trying to get the start on our minivan fixed.
What hurt even more is that the money we had to use for that was what was earmarked for getting the other car new tires and tags so I could have the van back. We have been a one-car family for over a year now and I am getting very stir crazy. We’ll still get it done, but it might take another couple of weeks. I’ve waited this long, what’s another week or two (Or three). *Insert huge sigh here*
Anyway, the whole scheduling process has been quite effective, for the most part. My days have been a little more organized and the house doesn’t look like a tornado came through, a small nor’easter, maybe but hey, anything’s an improvement.
After all the work and drama of the week, we took the babies out on Saturday to a local festival. They were excited to see the local news helicopter and enjoyed playing with some baby animals at the petting zoo. K even got to play his first carnival game and won big rubber balls for himself and his baby brother. Here are a couple of pics that I snapped while they enjoyed the festivities.

This week promises to be very busy as well, but I have some fun planned for the weekend. We have my stepson this weekend, so we’re planning to take a trip with the whole family to the corn maze and pumpkin patch. Keep your fingers crossed that my schedule goes well again!
