It’s that time of year again. The leaves are changing, the weather’s getting colder and noses are starting to run. Poor little D got hit with the first cold of the season over the weekend, which he has graciously shared with mommy. See how well he’s learning his social skills?
After several days of whining and sleeplessness for him, I got a one night reprieve and then tonight, my nose started to run, my throat started to burn and my chest vaguely hurts. Of course, we don’t have a thing in the house for me to take, so I’ll just have to be a trooper.
I tried going to bed early, but hubs had the heat turned up so high in the bedroom, I couldn’t breathe, so here I am, at 3 AM, sitting at the computer. I’m really not sleepy anymore, so I’m trying to make this quiet time as productive as I can. Or at least wear myself out to the point I just go to bed and collapse.
Keep your fingers crossed for me and pray that K and daddy don’t end up getting sick, too. With the holidays sneaking up on us, faster that I even realized, I need all the uptime I can get around here!

Colds usually last between 3 to 5 days so are you feeling better as of this post? If not, I hope you get better soon. If so, GREAT!
