Muvee Reveal Software Review and Giveaway

by Shannan on February 26, 2009

muvee-reveal_logo_webFor the most part, I can hold my own with techie type things. If I don’t know how to do something, I can figure it out without much trouble. Learning software comes easy to me, even without a tutorial or detailed instructions. There is only one exception – video editing software. I have tried several different versions and cannot for the life of me figure out how to use those things. Video software has been my nemesis for the longest time, so when I was given the chance to try out Muvee Reveal software, I was hopeful that just maybe this one would be user friendly.

Much to my delight, Muvee Reveal is very easy to use.  The interface is very plain and self-explanatory, not intimidating in the least. You upload pictures or video in one section, choose a style with effects in the next, add music or voiceovers in the last and you’re ready to go. It really is that simple!

There are other options that you can use, as well. Muvee Reveal includes features such as:

  • Video editing (red eye reduction, rotation, sequencing and more)
  • Supports HD video
  • Captioning, to add text and titles to images or scenes
  • Style packs, for special occasions or holidays
  • Full Screen Previews, for easy editing
  • and loads more

One of the best options they have on the software, in my opinion, is the “share” button. Here you can save your video to use in almost any format. Save it for use on your own computer, to burn to DVD, or get it ready to upload to the web. You can even use their own online album service, Schwup, to privately share your works online to your friends and family.

I put together a little video of pictures of the two little boys, to show you just a little of what you can do with the software. I hope you enjoy it!

Grow Up Strong with Big G Cereals

February 24, 2009

At our house, weekday breakfasts are quick and easy, so when I was approached by Mom Bloggers Club to participate in a blog tour for General Mills cereals, the answer was a natural yes. I grew up being refused many of the popular kids’ cereal choices, being told that they were “junk.” They were too [...]

Family Game Night – Time to Play!

February 24, 2009

I always have been, and always will be, a huge fan of board games. Some of my favorite childhood memories come from Sunday dinners at my grandma’s house, which were followed by a massive game of Uno. It wasn’t unusual for ten or twelve of us to sit around the table, talking and laughing, teasing [...]

A New Way to Embarrass Our Kids

February 19, 2009

A couple days ago, K had me, my Twitter friends, and a few other close internet buddies all but rolling on the floor in laughter. He’s wrapping up potty training (sorta) and was wearing his big boy underwear. I left his regular pants off, to help increase the chances of him making it to the [...]
