If you are looking for a new way to get your kids involved in sports this spring, The US Tennis Association has a great program coming up that might be the perfect answer. On March 2nd, the USTA Junior Team Tennis program is holding their National Youth Registration Night at 600 different member facilities across the country. Also on this night will be a live tennis match on HBO which features the Williams sisters and other top ranked female players. Tennis Night in America is sure to be a huge event!
Last year, more than 80,000 children participated in Jr Team Tennis programs across the country and a recent study has named tennis as the fastest growing traditional sport in the country. The program is designed to foster skills and values, while teaching players how to play and perfect the game, making at a great choice for those who want to explore new sports. Programs are available for children ages 5 and up, so even younger children can get started early.
