For the most part, I can hold my own with techie type things. If I don’t know how to do something, I can figure it out without much trouble. Learning software comes easy to me, even without a tutorial or detailed instructions. There is only one exception – video editing software. I have tried several different versions and cannot for the life of me figure out how to use those things. Video software has been my nemesis for the longest time, so when I was given the chance to try out Muvee Reveal software, I was hopeful that just maybe this one would be user friendly.
Much to my delight, Muvee Reveal is very easy to use. The interface is very plain and self-explanatory, not intimidating in the least. You upload pictures or video in one section, choose a style with effects in the next, add music or voiceovers in the last and you’re ready to go. It really is that simple!
There are other options that you can use, as well. Muvee Reveal includes features such as:
- Video editing (red eye reduction, rotation, sequencing and more)
- Supports HD video
- Captioning, to add text and titles to images or scenes
- Style packs, for special occasions or holidays
- Full Screen Previews, for easy editing
- and loads more
One of the best options they have on the software, in my opinion, is the “share” button. Here you can save your video to use in almost any format. Save it for use on your own computer, to burn to DVD, or get it ready to upload to the web. You can even use their own online album service, Schwup, to privately share your works online to your friends and family.
I put together a little video of pictures of the two little boys, to show you just a little of what you can do with the software. I hope you enjoy it!

OK – does this stuff work on Mac? I’m hearing conflicting stories. If it DOES, then the first thing I would do would be to jazz up my Storytime with the Twofer Twins series on my blog and include some stills from the pages of the books we are reading. I’ve heard such great things about it!

I think my favorite feature is the private share album. My husband thought all of the videos I took at Walt Disney World were for our personal use, and so I was guilt tripped into taking some personal videos.
Love YouTube for sharing vids, but I’m not too certain of their security when it comes to the private setting.
i love that it comes with so many styles. I was just telling my husband I really need to start organizing the photos/video. This would really help us out with that…..what a task it is!…lol

My oldest has some great scrapbooks, my second child has just one, when I had my twins 2 years later I took pictures, thinking one day I will “catch up” on making great scapbooks. The twins are now 9. Ummm… the scrapbook thing hasn’t happened & I think Muvee Reveal will transitition my pictures into a great archive of memories for our busy family! My 1st project will be taking the pictures & videos from our last vacation and making a great video. And then tackling each season going backwards thru the years!
I checked out the Muvee Reveal website & my favorite feature has to be how easy it looks to use! I like how easy you can add captions, add voiceovers, and no jumping between screens when previewing how you want the project to look!
I tweeted about this giveaway
My favorite feature would be that you can personalize your video with your voice.
My first project would be a muvee to give the grandmoms for mother’s day.

I’d have to make of movie of my kids celebrating their last day of school this year. We always make it such a fun event!
I like this : It’s easy to transfer your muvee to your iPod, phone, or DVD. You can even play it on your PSP. You’ll never be at a loss for ways to share your muvee.
This would be great.
I would make a movie of my kids playing and send it to my in-laws who live in another state.
I like that it has one touch transfer. . . I am not so technically savy.
My first project would be to put together all the video clips of my daughter’s first year for the grandparents.
They use automatic editing to create a polished home movie.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I like that you can add your own voice recordings. My FIRST project would be to do a time-lapse movie of my first-time baby belly! After that, I’d make a “baby’s first year” to send to my parents who live far away. I think it’d be adorable to include a little audio file of my baby saying, well, something to Bubbe & Zayde!

Hey, thanks for using our music! (I bet no one really noticed the music, heh). I see you’ve chosen the piece “Have I Told You Lately” for your video. Nice.

I like that you can add music to your videos and share it with friends!
I would use this software to edit movies of my 5 month old… especially for our upcoming roadtrip from Pennsylvania to Arkansas for my dad’s wedding!!

The easy transfer might be my favorite feature. I like that they can be any format.
I LOVE the fact that it has all the styles and personalization to make your videos fun! Having a graphic design background and having used professional software like Final Cut Pro for years, this software makes it fun again and EASY to create wonderful home videos. Right now I just want to enjoy spending time with my son and share the videos quick and easy. I don’t want to have to spend more time editing the video than I did making it. This software would allow that!

I think the many ways to personalize the videos are the best features. From captions to voice overs, the final product will be truly unique. Who wants to watch boring home movies, when you can watch a Muvee.

It is so hard to find just 1 favorite feature. They are all great. If I must just choose 1, I would say the Powerful Editing Tools are the top of the line.
I like the feature that makes it portable.
I like the “Make It Your Own” voiceover and captions features.
My first project would be to make a video scrapbook from some of the 5,000+ pictures we have of our 3 little ones! I’ve been meaning to do something with them and it has always seemed so daunting. Muvee Reveal sounds like it would make the task easy and enjoyable. Thanks for the chance to win!
I like the Easy Transfer feature. One-touch transfer from your camcorder, phone, or camera makes it easy to import any pictures regardless of format. This is a great giveaway and I really hope I win. Thanks.
Hmmmm, maybe a movie about the various talent shows we take our kinder to. Fun times!
I stumbled.
