It’s potty training time around here still again! Yeah, we’ve been at it for over a year and K just doesn’t want to get it. Well, let me rephrase that, because he GETS it, just doesn’t want to DO it. I was starting to think that the child was going to go to Kindergarten in a diaper if something didn’t give.
A few weeks ago, I was approached by CleverMom.me to do a review and giveaway of a product from their site. They had the cutest potty training stickers, so I chose those as they were fitting our current situation. My Wee Friend is not your typical potty training reward sticker, however. These are the coolest potty training tools ever!
They are a black circle-shaped sticker that goes on the bottom of the inside of a child’s potty. The stickers last about 12 weeks and are available in 7 different characters. When your child goes pee, the sticker will change into a picture. In K’s case, we chose a star.
After I put the sticker into the potty, I used a cup of warm water to show him what happens and told him that if he peed in it, the star would appear, too. He gave it a shot and wanted to pee again after I used cold water to make the star disappear again. He was instantly potty trained, at least on that level. He thinks his “magic potty” is the coolest thing ever!
All told, I think he’s had a total of two accidents in the three weeks since we put the My Wee Friend sticker into his potty. I haven’t tried taking him out without a diaper yet, but that will be the next endeavor. If only they made “My Poo Friend.” For some reason, that part of potty training just isn’t clicking so well…
If you are potty-training and would like to get your hands on My Wee Friend, you can pick one up for $4.99 at CleverMom.me. Use the coupon code cribstocarkeys for 15% off your total purchase. They also have lots of other great products for babies, toddlers and more!

My son would like the catepillar. Thanks for the chance.
My favorite potty training tip: Bribery! A sticker chart worked for my daughter and once she collected a certain number of stickers, she was able to trade them in for a “new” book (.25 at a used book sale)

My daughter would just think it was hilarious if she got to pee on the dog!
Totally adorable! Love the dog!!! Thanks for the review!
My girls love to take in their fav doll when going potty!!! Only time that I let them take toys with them to the potty … oh and a book! haha
I think my son will enjoy the dog. Potty training will be coming soon.
What a cool idea! I like the star and caterpillar best, but in part because of their bright colours. The puppy is cute too. Thanks for the giveaway.
My potty training tip is to have a small potty (even a little plastic container) and get the kids favourite teddy or doll to go potty at the same time. You can even say “Teddy has to go potty” and the kid may go along with it, but if you said he or she should go they may refuse! lol… Thanks again. My son would love this and it’s about time he was potty trained! We’ve stalled…
My favorite potty training tip is forget the training pants – put them in underwear. I trained both of my boys this way. No kid wants to be dripping wet.
I would also like to add these stickers would be great for my youngest. I can’t figure out how to train him yet (he’s 2 and I want him trained earlier)
my recommendation is lots of hours of sitting watching princess movies, and lots of treats! it worked for us!

My niece would like the dog ones. Thanks!
My daughter would be thrilled with the star or the cow. She’s been pretending she’s a horse or a cow for the last few weeks, so I think all things cow are a hit right now. It would be perfect timing to have a magic cow sticker in the potty!
Potty training tip: Let them run around naked in the warm weather. They’ll figure out it’s more comfortable to pee/poo in the potty very quickly.
