speaknow120x240I have been anxiously waiting to see what the government comes up with for our promised healthcare reform. In fact, that was a major issue in winning my vote in the election. After years of struggling to afford insurance for my kids, let alone myself and my husband, I would love to see the government take action and improve the lives of millions of Americans by improving the healthcare system.

For me, the highest priority in healthcare is children. Speak Now For Kids agrees with me and is creating a grassroots campaign to speak up for the healthcare needs of children during the healthcare reform debates that are looming on Capitol Hill, later this month.

If you want to ensure that children’s healthcare gets the necessary attention from the government, and help uninsured and underinsured children across the country get the voice they need in the debates, visit the Speak Now for Kids website. You can find information on their campaign, upload videos to be shared with Congress, recruit your friends and family to help with the cause, and much more.

Join us tonight, Wed May 6th, on Twitter to speak with a representative of Speak Now for Kids. They will be sharing information about the state of children’s healthcare, talking about the campaign, and fielding questions from concerned parents and anyone interested in the cause. Follow @speaknowforkids and @resourcefulmom and use the hashtag #speaknowforkids to follow the conversation. And don’t forget to RSVP!
