Back in October, I attended the Time To Play Holiday Showcase and was thrilled to find that MEGABrands, one of my favorite toy manufacturers was one of the vendors that was participating in the event. I was even more excited when I saw all of the exciting new character products that they were releasing for the holidays.
My boys love MegaBloks and they are big fans of Kai-Lan, on Nick Jr, so when I was offered the chance to review the Ni Hao, Kai-Lan Buildable Bedroom playset, I certainly couldn’t turn it down.
This set is designed to look like Kai-Lan’s bedroom, right from the TV show and features some of the kids’ favorite characters. They can build and rebuild Kai-Lan’s room to make it look just like the show or get creative and rearrange the house. My boys love to reenact episodes from their favorite shows, so this was a sure hit for them. Kai-Lan and her friends are destined for many exciting adventures around this house!
The blocks are, of course, compatible with other Megablocks sets, and there are other Kai-lan expansion packs available that will allow even more creative play with these popular characters.
The Ni Hao, Kai-Lan Buildable Bedroom set comes with 48 pieces, including Kai-Lan, Tolee, and HoHo figurines and is recommended for ages 3 and up. This set is available at the Megabrands website for $29.99 and can be found at many major toy retailers.
