Back to School Fun from RoseArt & Board Dudes

by Shannan on September 20, 2010

Our Fill The Backpack campaign is coming to an end, but many of the goodies inside will be tons of fun throughout the year. As hubby spent a couple of years at the Art Institute after high school, anything in the realm of art supplies are always a big hit around here. The fun items from RoseArt that we were given to add to our backpacks were no exception.

RoseArt Glitter Magic Markers

No art project is complete without a touch of glitter, but we all know just how messy glitter and glue, or even premade glitter glue can be. RoseArt’s Glitter Magic markers take the mess out of glittery art projects by adding the sparkle right into the ink. The kids love them because of the sparkle of the glitter, I love them because they create less mess than plain glitter or glitter glue and they are washable. Easy cleanup, for the win!

RoseArt Color Blanks

Color Blanks by RoseArt are a really fun art project for an afternoon. The kit contains a blank, poseable figurine and everything you need to personalize him to make him your own. Color your new friend with permanent markers and then add stickers to give him personality with some facial features. While this project was a little advanced for K & D to do alone at under 5, with the help of their big brothers, they were really able to enjoy making their Color Blank Blockhead.

Board Dudes Double-sided Dry Erase Lapboard

As I mentioned yesterday, K has been working on learning to write. The DryErase Lapboard that we received from Board Dudes has been a huge help in this department. One side has guide lines printed on it, perfect for beginning writers to practice their letters, while the other side is blank so they can draw or write whatever they’d like. The board is the perfect size to take along anywhere and we have been taking ours along in the car, as a way to pass the time.

Mega Brands provided me with these great products to try out for myself, as well as to add to my Fill The Backpack giveaways.

I use the dry erase lap boards and many other dry erase learning tools on a daily basis. Awesome products!

We use the DryErase boards to hang in the kitchen and the main events of the week are on THAT board, things like school events, bills, dentist visits and so forth. I find them a huge help.
